Upvotes and leaderboard
TG.app lets the community rank Mini Apps, bots, channels, and groups with a daily upvote budget. Rankings power the public Leaderboard at tg.app/leaderboard and every Collection.
Daily vote budget
- Every signed-in Telegram user gets a configurable number of votes per UTC day (default 5).
- You can spend them on different listings, or stack several votes on one listing the same day.
- The budget resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Admins can change the daily limit in site settings without a deploy.
Synthetic importer accounts and scraped review stubs cannot cast real votes.
How to upvote
- Open any approved listing page (or vote inline from the Leaderboard / a Collection list view).
- Sign in with Telegram if needed.
- Tap Upvote. Each tap spends one vote from today’s budget (when you have remaining votes).
- Your remaining votes for the day appear next to the button on desktop.
There is no downvote or undo in v1.
Leaderboard
Visit tg.app/leaderboard for rankings sorted by upvote count (top 30).
Period filters (?period=)
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
all (default) | All-time |
today | UTC day |
week | Last 7 days |
month | Last 30 days |
year | Last 365 days |
YYYY-MM | Calendar month |
Example: /leaderboard?period=week&type=mini_app
Also filter by listing type: All, Mini Apps, Bots, Channels, Groups.
Collections
Collections use the same period upvote ranking for membership lists. Creators publish their own lists (draft first); anyone can share period links or embed top rows. See Collections and the landing /create-collection.
Voter avatars
Listing pages may show a short stack of unique voter avatars. The same person is never shown more than once on a listing, even if they vote across multiple days. Avatars are not linked to profiles and do not show usernames.
What counts toward Buzz
The listing Buzz score already includes upvote totals. As community upvotes grow, Buzz labels such as Community favorite can appear more often. See Listing insights.
