Dungeon Master Eggs is a creature-collecting idle game you can play inside Telegram. Hatch eggs, build a collection, train creatures and send them on adventures. Its appeal is the rhythm of short check-ins: choose what to work on, let a timer run, then return to collect progress.

Open Dungeon Master Eggs to start playing. This guide explains the main screens and a practical way to approach your first sessions.

What is Dungeon Master Eggs?

Developed by BIG Indie Games, Dungeon Master Eggs combines creature collection with timed progression. Creatures have different elements, rarities and evolution paths. Adventures, training and daily missions give you several ways to develop your collection.

You play through the Telegram Mini App, rather than downloading a separate game. It is free to start, with optional in-game purchases using Telegram Stars. The developer says its games do not require a crypto wallet or token.

A quick map of the game

The game's catalog screenshots show a bottom navigation bar with Home, Incubator, Adventure, Collection, Shop and Profile. These are the three areas worth learning first:

Area

What it is for

What to check

Incubator

Hatching eggs into creatures

Your available eggs and the current hatch state

Collection

Reviewing creatures and opening their details

Level, power, element, rarity and Ready or Busy status

Adventure

Sending creatures on dungeon adventures

Required power, duration and the rewards shown for the stage

Daily Missions ties these activities together. The mission screen includes hatching an egg, starting or claiming an adventure, training two different creatures and leveling up a creature. Check your current mission list before choosing what to do next.

How to get started in Telegram

  1. Open the Mini App. Use Dungeon Master Eggs and launch it in Telegram.
  2. Find your eggs and creatures. Check Incubator for hatching and Collection to see what is already available.
  3. Open a creature's details. Look at its level, power, XP and availability before choosing training or an adventure.
  4. Read the stage card. In Adventure, compare the power requirement and timer with your available creature.
  5. Check Daily Missions. Choose activities that also move a mission forward, then return to collect completed rewards.

A useful first-session goal is to understand one complete cycle: hatch a creature, inspect its details, start an available activity and collect the result. You can explore more ambitious upgrades once those screens feel familiar.

Training, leveling and evolution: what to look at

The character-details screen separates training from leveling up. Training options have timers and XP amounts. A separate Lvl Up button displays a cost, while the panel also shows the creature's current XP progress.

That distinction matters when planning a short session. Training is an activity with a duration; the level-up control is a separate action to check when you return. Read the active requirements on your creature instead of assuming that finishing a timer automatically completes every upgrade.

Collection also labels creatures Ready or Busy. Before planning an adventure, check availability as well as power. A creature you want to use may already be occupied.

The developer describes evolution paths as part of progression. Check the requirements offered for your specific creature before committing resources; the overview screens do not establish a universal evolution recipe.

Choosing an adventure

Adventure stages display their requirements before you start. In the catalog's Lava Caves example, the card shows required power, estimated time and reward categories including XP, gold, an egg drop and cups.

Use those fields to make a simple decision:

  • Can your available creature meet the requirement? Check its current power and status.
  • Does the timer suit your next check-in? Pick an activity you can return to when it finishes.
  • Does it help a daily mission? Starting or claiming an adventure may also satisfy a mission objective.

The example screenshots are useful for understanding the layout. Use the live stage card for current numbers, rewards and unlock requirements.

A simple daily routine

Start with completed activities, then review Daily Missions. Next, choose an adventure and training activities that fit your available creatures. Before leaving, check the incubator and any rewards ready to collect.

This keeps each visit focused. You are deciding which creature should do what, rather than opening every menu without a plan. If your immediate goal is a mission, read its wording carefully: “train two creatures” and “level up one creature” are different tasks.

Is Dungeon Master Eggs free?

The game is free to start. Optional purchases use Telegram Stars, while the game screens also show resources such as gold and gems. Check the Shop's item description and final price before buying.

You do not need to purchase the studio's token to begin playing. BIG Indie Games explicitly separates access to its games from owning its token.

Who is it for?

Dungeon Master Eggs is worth exploring if you enjoy collecting fantasy creatures, watching a team develop and returning for short sessions. The main decisions revolve around hatching, training and allocating creatures to timed activities.
