Developer Guidelines
Standards for listing mini-apps, bots, and communities on TG.app. Following these guidelines keeps the catalog trustworthy and helps your product get approved faster.
Listing requirements
- Working Telegram link (t.me bot, mini app, or public @username for channels/groups)
- Accurate name, short description, and full description in the language you target
- Clear icon (square, readable at small sizes) and representative screenshots where applicable
- Correct listing type: Mini App, Bot, Channel, or Group
- Appropriate category and tags that match the product
- Compliance with Telegram Terms of Service and applicable laws
Not allowed
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, or deceptive redirects
- Fake engagement, bot-inflated metrics, or misleading claims
- Hate, harassment, illegal goods, or adult content without platform approval
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Private invite-only communities presented as public listings
- Duplicate or spam listings for the same product
Quality tips
Use screenshots that show real product UI, not generic stock art. Write descriptions that explain what users do in the first minute — not only marketing slogans.
Keep your Telegram link stable. Broken or expired links are the most common reason listings are rejected or demoted in discovery.
For communities, use a public @username link and only submit channels or groups you administer.
Moderation
- New and updated listings may be reviewed before or after going live, depending on risk signals.
- We may request changes to copy, assets, or links before approval.
- Repeated violations can lead to delisting or account restrictions.
