StoryViewer on Telegram: Stories, Downloads and Privacy

A practical guide to StoryViewer and StoriesFly: viewing public Instagram stories in Telegram, saving content, and checking privacy and paid-plan terms.

StoryViewer brings StoriesFly's Instagram tools into Telegram. You can browse public stories and highlights, save content and set up alerts without connecting an Instagram account. The bot is StoryViewer on Telegram, also known as @instanavy_bot.

The useful distinction is between the bot chat and the app it opens: the chat is a quick entry point, while the app gives you more browsing controls. This guide explains where to start, what the free tier covers and what to check before paying.

StoryViewer and StoriesFly: which one do you need?

They are two names for the same service. The StoryViewer listing on TG.app links to StoriesFly, and the official website links back to @instanavy_bot. You do not need to find a separate StoriesFly bot.

For a first visit, start with a public account you own or a creator whose content you have permission to save. Decide whether you want one item, a collection of current stories or ongoing notifications. That choice determines which route is useful.

How to use StoryViewer in Telegram

The following steps follow the official StoriesFly Telegram guide. We reviewed the documentation on October 16, 2026; this is not a hands-on test of delivery or paid features.

  1. Open the bot and select Start.
  2. Send a public Instagram username or profile URL for stories. For a reel or post, paste that item's link.
  3. A profile request returns the newest story. Use All N stories or Highlights to browse more in the app.
  4. Select Send on an item to return it to the Telegram chat.

What you want

Where to start

A story from a public profile

Send its username to the bot

A specific reel or post

Paste the item's Instagram URL

More stories or highlights

Open the corresponding button under the bot's reply

The guide lists a 50 MB ceiling for videos delivered to chat. If a file does not arrive, check its size and whether the account is public before assuming that an upgrade will solve it.

What is free, and what do paid plans add?

The StoriesFly homepage lists a free tier with 10 story views and 50 downloads per day in the app. Basic adds unlimited story viewing and downloads plus tracking for one account. Pro expands tracking to five accounts and includes an archive of viewed stories for up to 30 days.

Start with the free tier if your goal is occasional browsing. Consider a paid plan only when you can name the extra feature you need, such as ongoing alerts or the archive. Check the allowance shown in your actual screen: the bot chat and the app can have different limits.

What does anonymous viewing mean?

StoriesFly describes a service that retrieves content through its own servers without using your Instagram login. Its claim is that your Instagram identity does not appear in the story owner's viewer list. We have not independently verified that behavior.

That claim does not mean StoriesFly holds no information about you. Its privacy policy says it collects Telegram user IDs and basic profile information in the Mini App, retains search history for 30 days and keeps account data while the account is active. Account deletion can be requested through support.

Treat those as separate questions: what the Instagram account owner sees, and what the service stores. Use the viewer for public content; do not treat it as a way around a private account's permissions.

Check renewal and refunds before upgrading

The billing information is inconsistent as of our review. The homepage describes recurring card payments through Tribute and recurring Telegram Stars payments, with non-renewing crypto access. The terms dated February 2026 still describe all paid plans as one-time purchases without automatic renewal.

Before confirming a payment, check the provider, total price, access period and renewal wording in checkout. If those details are unclear, ask StoriesFly support to confirm them first. We have not tested checkout or cancellation.

The refund policy updated October 14, 2026 is more specific than a blanket money-back promise. It allows requests within three days of the first payment when a paid feature failed on their side or no paid feature has been used. Delivered results are excluded; partial delivery may lead to a partial refund or extra time. Keep your receipt and describe the exact problem when contacting support.
